Dr. Huda Al-Duwaisan
Site Coordinator; Family Medicine - Yarmouk
Dr. Huda Al-Duwaisan is a graduate of Kuwait University’s College of Medicine and has received her fellowship in family medicine from the United Kingdom’s Royal College of General Practitioners.
She is currently the head of the Yarmouk Primary Health Care Clinic, which is recognized as the first healthy city in Kuwait by the World Health Organization (WHO). In addition, Dr. Al-Duwaisan was the previous Chairperson of the Primary Health Care Faculty at the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specialization, serving a tenure between 2008-2022. At present, she is a trainer and examiner in the Family Medicine board in Kuwait.
Dr. Al-Duwaisan also previously served as the head and one of the founders of the Association of Family Physicians and General Practitioners between 2008-2022. She remains the vice head of the Yarmouk Health District Council.
She also founded and lead the Mental health program in PHC/Kuwait as respective head between 2013-2020 and the Obesity National Program in General Practice in 2004. She also integrated the First Chronic disease Clinic in General Practice in 1996, the First Nocturnal Anuresis in General Practice in 2008, the First Healthy City in Kuwait in in Yarmouk Area in 2014, the First fast tract clinic, Triage system and Ideal Clinic in 2016 in Yarmouk Primary Health Center and finally the first AHA
